Each team member signs in with their own account, on the same site, and each one uses the plan of their own account. Updated for version 3.85 5 min read ## Before you start **The plugin installed and active.** If you haven't done it yet, see [Install the plugin](https://jode.io/docs/install/). **The same e-mail on both sides.** The Google account must have the same e-mail as your WordPress user. Check under Users › Profile and, if needed, change it there before signing in. **Windows allowed in the browser.** Sign-in opens in a jode.io window. If your browser blocks windows (pop-ups) from your site, allow them first. ## Step by step - 1 **Open the Login screen** Click APC Editorial in the WordPress side menu. Until you sign in, the plugin opens straight on Login. - 2 **Click Sign in with jode.io** On the Account & subscription (jode.io) card, click Sign in with jode.io. A window opens on jode.io. - 3 **Choose your Google account** Choose the account with the same e-mail as your WordPress user. The e-mail comes already verified by Google, so there is no code and no confirmation e-mail. - 4 **Done: the site is connected** Back on Login, you see You are connected as followed by your e-mail, your plan (Subscription: FREE or Subscription: PRO) and the Connected accounts on this site list. From then on, the plugin's tabs show up, and APC Editorial also appears on the WordPress screens it works on, such as the Posts list and the Media Library. ## Bring in your team One site accepts several accounts. Each person signs in with their own Google account, from their own WordPress user, following the same steps. Everyone already connected stays connected. - **Each person must be a WordPress Administrator or Editor** and have a user with their own e-mail. Authors and Contributors don't see the plugin. - **An Editor uses everything except what applies to the whole site:** the Global Settings and Advanced screens, and the Delete converted images, Delete the lighter copies and Search Console Delete data buttons. Those stay with the Administrator. - **Anyone who hasn't signed in yet** only sees the Login screen, with a note saying who already connected the site and an invitation to sign in with their own account. - **Anyone who stops being a WordPress Administrator or Editor** leaves the site's list of accounts. ## PRO is per person Each person sees the plan of their own account. Whoever plans and generates with AI needs their own PRO subscription, and one subscription covers all of that person's sites, with no site limit. Anyone on Free in the same site sees only the Free features. **The site keeps working on its own.** Schedules, queues and generations in progress keep running as long as there is at least 1 PRO account on the site, even if the person signed in right now is on Free. To subscribe, use the Upgrade to PRO button on the Login screen. The My account button opens your account on jode.io. The full list of what each plan unlocks is in [Free and PRO](https://jode.io/docs/free-and-pro/). ## Disconnect your e-mail The Disconnect e-mail from this site button, on the Login screen, takes only your e-mail off the site. You go back to the sign-in screen, and the other connected people keep using APC Editorial as usual. To come back, sign in again. If the site's Search Console was connected with your Google account, someone who stays has to connect it again. The numbers already imported stay in WordPress. **If yours is the only connected e-mail, APC Editorial stops working on the site until someone signs in again.** Your plans, themes and articles stay in WordPress, and whoever signs in again finds everything as it was. To remove another person from the site, write to [support@jode.io](mailto:support@jode.io) with the site and their e-mail. ## If something goes wrong ### "This site's connection to jode.io was revoked" jode.io paused this site. While the pause lasts, nobody can sign in and APC Editorial does not work on it; your plans, themes and articles stay in WordPress. Automatic tasks are paused, without losing anything. Contact jode.io support. When the site is turned back on, it comes back by itself within 15 minutes, with the same people connected, and the tasks pick up where they stopped. ### "You signed in with the Google account …, but your WordPress user is …" You chose a Google account with a different e-mail. The connection is refused and nothing changes. Sign in again and choose the Google account with your WordPress user's e-mail, or change your user's e-mail under Users › Profile. ### "Your browser blocked the sign-in window" Allow windows (pop-ups) from your site in the browser, usually from the icon in the address bar, and click Sign in with jode.io again. ### "Your WordPress user has no e-mail" Add your e-mail under Users › Profile, then sign in with the Google account of that e-mail. ### "Sign-in could not be completed" Close the jode.io window, reload the Login screen and try again. If it keeps happening, write to support. ### The screen says my account is blocked APC Editorial is locked for your e-mail only, on all your sites. Every other e-mail keeps signing in and using it as usual, on the same sites too.
